People like you because you help them. People like you because they feel happy when they see you. They like you because they feel happy when they think of you.  Help people whenever you can. Be nice to people whenever you can. Make them laugh whenever you can. Lessen their sorrow whenever you can. - Narayana Rao

“Frequently, when I suggest to people that they detach from a person or problem, they recoil in horror. “Oh, no!” they say. “I could never do that. I love him, or her, too much. I care too much to do that. This problem or person is too important to me. I have to stay attached!” My answer to that is, “WHO SAYS YOU HAVE TO?” I’ve got news—good news. We don’t “have to.” There’s a better way. It’s called “detachment.” It may be scary at first, but it will ultimately work better for everyone involved.”

Now, people would be on the lookout for your changed behaviour and when you do change, people will be more aware of it and give you more credit for doing so."
- Dorie Clark,  CEO Clark Strategic Communications and adjunct professor of business administration at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

"The New Year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals."  - Melody Beattie
