What is the use of recording your top 10 posts of the blog?
It gives you an idea of current interests of readers.
As I observe there is vast difference between the top one or two and others.
Bloggers can think of what they can do to improve the popularity of lower ranked posts. They are good. But may be they are not positioned properly in the digital space.
If you are good at SEO, doing some additional SEO can give good returns.

What is the use of recording your top 10 posts of the month?
It gives you an idea of current interests of readers. As I observe there is vast difference between the top one or two and others. Bloggers can think of what they can do to improve the popularity of lower ranked posts. They are good. But may be they are not positioned properly in the digital space. If you are good at SEO, doing some additional SEO can give good returns. I am getting some ideas after I did this collection as part of A to Z event.

ReplyDeleteTo be honest I have never seen that part of the page. Because Blogger statistics are never accurate. It shows results that include spams and crawler bots visit. For better results, Analytics shows somewhat accurate or close to accurate results.

Yes. I do see analytics, adsense and blogger. Over a period the numbers may differ but the trends are similar. Also, I wanted a quick list. Let me see. I am going to update this post every month. I also made a post of top 100 posts in my popular blog now. Thank you for the comment.
DeleteI really know little about SEO in general, but recording top 10 posts is important for data analyzing and concentrating the right keywords in searches?
ReplyDeleteI am not active for the last two or three years. I created large number of blog posts. I should know which of them became popular. I have to put my promotion efforts behind them rather than creating some more posts and support post which have not gained any traction. Now I made a list of 100 top articles in my most popular blog to concentrate my attention on them.
