Nobel Peace Prize should be renamed as Nobel Prize for Peace and World Social and Political Development

The way Nobel prizes for peace are awarded in various years it makes sense to rename the prize as Nobel Prize for Peace and World Social and Political Development. That way various social workers and politicians can be included for determining the prize. Both achievements of politicians in power and achievement of people leading political struggles and improve the political system can be recognized. Also academincs working in the areas of sociology and social welfare, and also academics in the areas of politics and public administration can also be considered for the award.

Internationally Networked Data Servers - Internet Data Warehouse - Content Discovery Mechanisms and Platforms

Yahoo and  Google are two interesting major content discovery platforms.

Facebook is not basically a content discovery platform but it is turning into one.  Google+ is more specifically built for content discovery as it is a late entrant into the social media space and Google is the leader in content discovery. So if social media can become the content discovery mechanism, Google wanted a share of it. Google+ is a success so far.


Flipora is a new content discovery platform which will highlight content relevant to you on a continuous basis if you instal a plug in. YouTube is doing it on its platform.

5.65 Million Online Page Views - Blogger - K.V.S.S. Narayana Rao

Happy to note that cumulative page views from February 2006 have reached the figure of 5,652,319 on 31 May 2014.

Currently the blog http://www.nraomtr.blogspot.com is at 980,000 page views. This month it is likely to register the cumulative one million page view figure.
